James Fitzgerald

James is a director, writer, and ice hockey player known for crafting vibrant, polychromatic concepts infused with his unique comedic flair. He takes audiences on thrilling journeys, transforming the familiar and ensuring no one is ever left behind.

He’s the recipient of three BFI Royal Television Society Awards and was selected for Sundance’s Future Frames – Ten New European Filmmakers to Watch. His short film The Invisible Boy was long-listed for an Oscar after winning the Galway Film Festival.

James has directed campaigns for Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, JWT, and Publicis, as well as music videos for Sony, Universal, Warner Bros., and Atlantic Records.

He’s often mistaken for James R. Fitzgerald — the retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Criminal Profiler, Forensic Linguist, and Behavioral Analysis Unit member.
